Business Forum for Robotics and Automation “Robotics Strategy Forum '26’

The Executive Agency for the Promotion of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (BSMEPA) together with the Professional Association for Robotics, Automation and Innovation (PARAi) are organizing the large-scale Robotics and Automation Business Forum "Robotics Strategy Forum '26"„. The trade and technology event with networking opportunities will be held on September 10, 2026. in the John Atanasov Hall of Sofia Tech Park.

The main goal of the forum is to create a bridge for direct contacts between Bulgarian industry, high-tech companies, manufacturing enterprises, scientific circles, government institutions and internationally recognized investors. This year's edition places a special focus on effective business models for growth, the latest engineering achievements, good manufacturing practices and proven strategies for successful entry into global markets.

Focus on innovation, international partnerships and Japanese experience

The event program is specially designed for companies operating in key sectors for the modern economy such as automation, electronics, mechatronics, mechanical engineering, aviation, industrial software, additive manufacturing, intellectual property, as well as for all enterprises developing export-oriented engineering solutions.

An important highlight of the forum will be the participation of representatives of the Japan External Trade Promotion Agency (JETRO), who are actively working to deepen industrial and trade ties between Bulgaria and Japan, as well as delegates from a number of other leading international companies and organizations.

Key topics in the Robotics Strategy Forum '26 program:

  • Industrial cooperation Bulgaria - Japan: Opportunities for technological and industrial partnership with the participation of JETRO;
  • Regional development and production: Successful examples of electronics development outside the capital (e.g. "Intelligent Security Systems" - Vratsa) and specific production projects ("Rakamakafon" Ltd.);
  • New technologies and additive manufacturing: 3D technologies as a tool for rapid prototyping, personalized manufacturing and industrial innovation;
