The Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) organizes an online national seminar on the project „"A Greener Deal - Meaningful employee participation in European industries to implement the European Green Deal"“ (Go Greener Deal). The event will be held on September 18, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. in a digital environment.

The main objective of the initiative is to promote the active and effective participation of workers and employees in the processes related to the transformation of the industry in the context of the European Green Deal.. The project is implemented in partnership in Bulgaria, Poland, Portugal, Spain and North Macedonia, with a focus on strengthening social dialogue, improving the skills of the employed population and ensuring a just, inclusive and sustainable transition for European enterprises..

Presentation of the national survey and discussion on social dialogue

During the seminar, experts will present the results of a national survey and a detailed analysis of specific cases from Bulgarian practice related to staff participation in the green transition.. The event provides an interactive platform for the exchange of experience between representatives of employers, trade unions, the industrial sector and government institutions..

The conclusions and recommendations formulated during the discussions will be integrated into a future European self-learning platform.. It will support the exchange of good practices between partner countries and provide practical tools for businesses adapting their models to environmental requirements..
