Trade mission for the furniture and woodworking industry at the international exhibition DREMA 2026

The Ruse Chamber of Commerce and Industry informs interested companies about the opportunity to participate in a trade mission to the international exhibition DREMA 2026, which will be held from September 7 to 11, 2026 in Poznan, Poland.

The trade mission is organized by the Executive Agency for the Promotion of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises /BSMEPA/ and is aimed at Bulgarian micro, small and medium-sized enterprises from the furniture and woodworking industries.

About the exhibition

DREAM is an international B2B exhibition for the woodworking and furniture industry, which brings together sector representatives, manufacturers, suppliers of equipment, technologies and solutions for the furniture industry and woodworking.

The upcoming 42nd edition of the forum has a modern, adapted format, oriented towards the practical needs of modern business and market dynamics.

Visitors and exhibitors will have the opportunity to learn about technological advances, robotic automation systems, software solutions for digitalization, and concepts related to Industry 4.0.

The exhibition program includes interactive zones, demonstrations of functioning "living factories", specialized workshops and pavilions dedicated to innovations in furniture components, ecological materials and sustainable resource management.

Opportunities for participants

Participation in the trade mission will provide Bulgarian enterprises with the opportunity for direct contact with the international business environment, new technological solutions and current market trends in the furniture and woodworking industry.

The event will provide opportunities for matchmaking and networking with international manufacturers, suppliers and potential partners in the sector. For Bulgarian companies, this can be a useful platform for searching for new markets, partnerships, equipment suppliers and solutions for automation, digitalization and more efficient resource management.

Eligible candidates

The invitation is aimed at Bulgarian micro, small and medium-sized enterprises operating in the following sectors:

  • manufacture of wood and products of wood and cork, except furniture;
  • production of straw products and plaiting materials;
  • furniture production.

Enterprises should meet the eligibility conditions specified by BSMEPA.

Financing

For the ranked enterprises, BSMEPA fully or partially covers the costs of participation of one representative from each enterprise. The support may include travel expenses, transfers and internal transportation, hotel accommodation, entrance fees for attending events, organization of business meetings and other expenses related to the objectives of the trade mission.

An enterprise participating for the first time in promotional events organized by BSMEPA under the current project is not subject to self-financing. In case of repeated participation in such events, a refund of 30% of the participation costs incurred is envisaged.

The participation constitutes de minimis aid under the applicable State aid rules.

Application

The deadline for submitting documents is July 21, 2026.

Documents can be submitted electronically, signed with a QES, to email: office@sme.government.bg. Submission is also possible via the platform. B2B Connect or on site/by courier to the Registry of the Ministry of Innovation and Digital Transformation, 1000 Sofia, 12 Knyaz Alexander I Str.

BSMEPA will conclude a participation contract with the first 12 ranked and approved enterprises.
