Information Session: The Digital Product Passport and Practical Preparation for Businesses

8 October | 15:00 – 17:00
The Ruse Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) and Wiara – Daas Ltd. (WIARA) invite business representatives to an in-person information session dedicated to the Digital Product Passport and practical steps companies can take to prepare.
What information will companies need to maintain about their products? Where does the required data come from, who is responsible for it, and how is access managed? The session will explore these questions through a demonstration of WIARA’s platform and an open discussion with participants.
About the Event
The Digital Product Passport (DPP) is an electronic source of information about products, components and materials. It may contain data on their origin, composition, technical characteristics, repair options and recyclability. Its specific content is determined by the relevant product group and applicable requirements. Learn more about the European framework
For businesses, preparation involves working with product documentation, engaging with suppliers, assigning internal responsibilities and maintaining reliable data. During the session, we will discuss how these activities can be organised in stages and which key challenges should be identified early.
The event builds on RCCI’s information series on the Digital Product Passport, developed with expert input from WIARA. The format combines an introduction to the topic, a practical demonstration and time for specific questions from businesses.
