The aim is to accelerate the construction of a modern infrastructure for charging electric vehicles. Charging stations will be built only in\u00a0<strong>less developed regions<\/strong>\u00a0of the country \u2013 Northwestern, North Central, Northeastern, Southeastern and South Central.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Candidates:<\/strong><br>The procedure is open to <strong>micro, small, medium and large enterprises<\/strong>, as well as for <strong>associations between them<\/strong>. Beneficiaries must be registered. <strong>no later than 31.12.2022.<\/strong> and have been in business for the last three financial years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Application deadline:<\/strong><br>Project proposals are submitted via the electronic system <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/eumis2020.government.bg\/bg\/s\/Procedure\/InfoPublicDiscussion\/d962c938-8a9a-450b-9b88-3981c54a305d\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">June 2020<\/a><\/strong> to <strong>16.07.2026, 16:00.<\/strong>. The implementation of project activities must be completed. <strong>up to 30 months<\/strong>, but not later than <strong>31.12.2029.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Eligible activities under the procedure<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The procedure supports complex activities that include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"margin-top:0;margin-bottom:0\"><strong>Construction of charging infrastructure<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Installing <strong>electric vehicle charging stations<\/strong> with power over <strong>22 kW<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Charging stations should be located along sections of <strong>the republican road network<\/strong> outside the settlements that are part of the main and extensive <strong>Trans-European Transport Network (TEN-T)<\/strong>, and can be up to <strong>3 km from the exit of the republican road<\/strong> (e.g. parking lots).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"margin-top:0;margin-bottom:0\"><strong>Technical equipment and related activities<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Delivery and installation of technical equipment for charging stations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Related construction and installation works and adaptation of terrain or road.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Installation work and costs for obtaining the necessary permits.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"margin-top:0;margin-bottom:0\"><strong>Integration with renewable energy sources (RE)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Investments for <strong>electricity production from renewable sources<\/strong> and systems for its <strong>on-site storage<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"margin-top:0;margin-bottom:0\"><strong>Public access and operation<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The built infrastructure must be <strong>publicly available with non-discriminatory access<\/strong> and charging fees must match <strong>market prices<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Funding and intensity<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Maximum grant amount per project:<\/strong> 256,000 euros.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Funding intensity:<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>To <strong>65 %<\/strong> for micro and small enterprises;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To <strong>55 %<\/strong> for medium-sized enterprises;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To <strong>35 %<\/strong> for large enterprises.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Technical requirements for charging stations<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"margin-top:0;margin-bottom:0\">The projects must provide modern charging infrastructure with minimum technical parameters depending on the type of network:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>For passenger cars on the core TEN-T network:<\/strong> minimum <strong>600 kW<\/strong> and at least <strong>2 points<\/strong> with power <strong>150 kW<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>For passenger cars on the comprehensive TEN-T network:<\/strong> minimum <strong>300 kW<\/strong> and at least <strong>1 point<\/strong> with power <strong>150 kW<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>For freight vehicles on the TEN-T core network:<\/strong> minimum <strong>2800 kW<\/strong> and minimum <strong>2 points<\/strong> by <strong>350 kW<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>For freight vehicles on the comprehensive TEN-T:<\/strong> minimum <strong>1400 kW<\/strong> and minimum <strong>1 point<\/strong> by <strong>350 kW<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The procedure is part of the efforts of the Transport Connectivity Programme 2021\u20132027 to develop alternative fuels and sustainable transport in Bulgaria. The construction of charging stations along the TEN-T network will stimulate electromobility, improve mobility outside large cities and support environmentally friendly transport.
