WITTE Automotive Bulgaria EOOD is implementing energy renovation measures for its production and administrative buildings in Ruse. The activities are aimed at increasing energy efficiency, reducing energy consumption and limiting the company's carbon footprint.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As part of the renovation, a highly efficient air-to-water heat pump unit, external louver sun protection systems, air curtains between production and storage rooms, a building automation system using open window sensors, as well as a photovoltaic power plant for self-consumption with an installed capacity of 1000.5 kWp were implemented.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The measures cover buildings with a total gross floor area of 23,250 sq m. As a result, a reduction in the annual energy consumption of 1,758,595 kWh was recorded, as well as a reduction in the consumption of non-renewable primary energy of 3,833,564 kWh per year, which represents 99.82% compared to the baseline.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The results achieved directly contribute to a more sustainable operation of the production facility. Greenhouse gas emissions have been reduced by 747.72 tons of CO\u2082 per year, and the share of renewable energy for heating, cooling, ventilation and lighting reaches 50.47%.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The implemented activities are part of the long-term policy of WITTE Automotive Bulgaria EOOD for sustainable development, increasing competitiveness and implementing modern solutions aimed at lower energy intensity and more efficient use of resources.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Ruse Chamber of Commerce and Industry welcomes such initiatives by its members, which contribute to the modernization of the industry, the sustainable development of the manufacturing sector and the establishment of Ruse as a region with an active and responsible business environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
