Bulgarian Development Bank (BDB)

The Bulgarian Development Bank is a credit institution, 100% owned by the Bulgarian state. It was established in 1999, with the main focus of its activity being the support for small and medium-sized enterprises. BDB is among the Bulgarian banks with the highest credit rating: "BBB" with a stable outlook from the international rating agency Fitch. It is also the only Bulgarian bank that, in addition to direct financing, also provides resources through other credit institutions.
