Greenland Business Mission: Discover new opportunities in the renewable energy sector

The Rousse Chamber of Commerce and Industry presents information about the opportunity for Bulgarian companies to take part in an upcoming business mission to Greenland, jointly organized by the European Commission and the government of Greenland. The event will take place in the period September 30 - October 4, 2024 and will focus on critical raw materials and renewable energy, with emphasis on water power. The European Commission will cover the participation costs of up to 10 companies from each EU member state.
The mission provides an opportunity for Bulgarian companies to explore business prospects in the field of critical raw materials and renewable energy, to establish contacts with key representatives of the local government and business, as well as to familiarize themselves with leading infrastructure projects.
Program of the business mission:
- Tuesday, October 1 – Nuuk: Seminar "Advancing EU-Greenland Cooperation: Investments and Innovations in Critical Raw Materials and Renewable Energy";
- Wednesday, October 2 – Nuuk: discussions between government and industry leaders (G2B) and business meetings (B2B), visit to the new airport and port;
- Thursday, October 3 – Visit to the Utokarmiut Kangerluarsunguat hydroelectric plant or visit to the Lumina-Kakortorsuak anorthosite deposit or visit to the GreenRock-Amitsok graphite deposit.

The European Commission covers the participation costs of up to 10 companies from a member country (for one person per company), incl. travel and accommodation costs through the Business Mission Greenland 2024 project.
The Rousse Chamber of Commerce and Industry, as an active participant in the development of sustainable business models, considers that the upcoming business mission in Greenland is a significant event for Bulgarian business. This event will provide Bulgarian companies with a chance to learn about the latest trends in the field of sustainable raw materials and renewable energy. Participants will also be able to expand their business horizons and build valuable international partnerships that will contribute to their long-term development and success.
