Ruse Chamber of Commerce and Industry informs local businesses about the opportunity to participate in a business mission to Port Louis, Mauritius during the period June 17–21, 2025 The business visit is organized by the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) and the Honorary Consulate of Mauritius in Sofia in connection with the celebration of 50 years of diplomatic relations between Bulgaria and Mauritius.

Mauritius is emerging as the most attractive business destination in the Sub-Saharan Africa region – with political stability, effective public and private institutions, a free press and a highly skilled, multilingual workforce. The island nation offers excellent opportunities for technology transfer, investment and partnership development.

The mission program includes:

• Business forum with bilateral meetings;
• Official opening of the Honorary Consulate of Bulgaria in Mauritius;
• Reception with the participation of state representatives of Mauritius;
• Cultural program.

Priority sectors:

• High technology;
• Healthcare and Pharmacy;
• Renewable energy sources;
• Food industry;
• Financial services.

An official delegation from the Republic of Bulgaria is being formed, with representatives from key ministries. The event is expected to provide opportunities for establishing sustainable trade and economic contacts.

Interested companies can apply for participation by May 20, 2025, by filling out the attached registration form. For those who have confirmed their participation, a preparatory meeting will be held with a presentation of the business climate and opportunities in the country.
