Fashion event "Fashion, Classics and Prosecco"

The Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry is pleased to support and assist in the promotion of the upcoming event "Fashion, Classics and Prosecco", organized by the Fashion Spaces Foundation. At May 17 and 18, 2025. in front of Philharmonic Hall / House of Culture in Ruse, residents and guests of the city will have the opportunity to enjoy a two-day celebration of fashion, culture and social engagement. The event is part of the program of the 20th anniversary edition of the tourism exhibition "Weekend Tourism", which traditionally attracts a wide audience from the country and abroad.

The event is unique for the city because it not only aims to unite and promote Ruse's independent fashion designers and studios, but also, through joint work with the Dinamika Association, to support a social cause related to the economic independence of women and children, victims of domestic violence, as well as to encourage the interest, imagination and talent of children in the field of fashion, design, arts and handicrafts.

The designers behind the Fashion Spaces Foundation set a goal within two days to give Ruse residents and guests of the city a complete experience not only for fashion connoisseurs, but also for their families, by inviting them to join the program rich in events and activities. On site, you will find revue performances and a Bar Bazaar with designer collections by Ruse artists, a guest designer - Professor of Fashion from the National Institute of Arts in Bucharest, a live performance by a string trio, a children's workshop on the topic of fashion, a makeup and hairstyle workshop from the PGO "N. Lazarova", a stand with fashion literature, competitions and awards, a Prosecco bar and a Focaccia bar with a taste of Italy and many more surprises.

The fashion event is part of the rich program of the 20th anniversary edition of the tourist exhibition "Weekend Tourism", which traditionally attracts numerous visitors from the country and abroad. This further increases the prestige of the initiative and provides an opportunity for greater publicity for Ruse fashion designers.

Through these events, the Fashion Spaces Foundation wants to emphasize and direct the audience's attention to:

  • The work of local independent authors, artists and future talents.
  • Creating a community to exchange and generate ideas for collaborative projects between designers, the sewing industry, and consumers.
  • To guide the audience towards appreciating the value of boutique, slow fashion and custom fashion.
  • Smart shopping and conscious choices with a view to protecting the environment, reducing the carbon footprint and using recyclable materials.
  • Fostering an ethical attitude towards fashion, in order to reduce consumerism among children and adolescents, as well as to provoke their interest in outdoor activities, away from computers and devices, and to develop their creative imagination.
  •   To foster social connections and encourage people to actively participate in live music events, as well as to create spaces for quality family experiences.
  • To engage the public in supporting socially significant causes, to encourage tolerance and empathy for disadvantaged groups.
  • Partnerships with local institutions, cultural institutes, NGOs, schools and business representatives to contribute to transforming Ruse into a city with a modern vision and beautifully thinking, stylish citizens.
