Visit of a Bulgarian business delegation to Kuwait, October 29 – November 1, 2023

The Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, in partnership with the Association of Bulgarian-Arab Economic Chambers, organizes business delegation to the city of Al Kuwait, Kuwait in the period 29.10 - 1.11.2023. The visit is also being prepared with the assistance of the diplomatic missions in both countries.

The preliminary program of the visit envisages the holding of bilateral business forum and individual business meetings, organized jointly with the Kuwait Chamber of Commerce and Industry. According to preliminary information, the sectors of mutual interest are: agriculture, food industry, light industry, energy, RES, information technology, construction, etc. Participants in the business delegation will have the opportunity to present their goods and products during their stay in Kuwait.

Kuwait is a small country /4.4 million inhabitants/ with a rich economy /168.8 billion USD. GDP/. GDP grows by 8.2% in 2022. Kuwait is part of the OPEC organization, which unites the oil exporting countries. The country's real non-oil GDP is expected to grow by 3.8% in 2023. Kuwait is the only Gulf country that does not have excise taxes and VAT in place.
