On November 13, 2025 (Thursday) from 09:00 a.m. in Hall 1 of the Regional Administration – Ruse will take place Bulgarian-Uzbek Business Forum. The event is being implemented at the initiative of the Regional Governor of Ruse District and is aimed at deepening economic, trade and investment cooperation between the two countries.

The main focus of the forum will be the promotion of mutual investments and the exchange of good practices in key sectors, including industry, transport and logistics, labor mobility, agriculture and technology. The event will also discuss the opportunities for attracting qualified labor from the Republic of Uzbekistan, as well as the opportunities for creating new trade and production partnerships in the Ruse region.

The Republic of Uzbekistan is among Bulgaria's significant partners in Central Asia. According to data from the Ministry of Economy and Industry, Bulgaria's exports to Uzbekistan in 2024 reach 63.78 million US dollars, noting growth of 19.5%, and total trade between the two countries amounts to 75.3 million USD., which represents an increase of 12% compared to the previous year.

The forum aims to provide an open platform for dialogue between institutions, businesses and diplomatic circles, highlighting the potential of the Ruse region as a leading region for investment, industrial development and intersectoral partnership.
