Online seminar "Challenges facing online stores"

The Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the European Consumer Centre Bulgaria are organizing a seminar for traders who wish to develop their activities online. The event will be held on October 24, 2025 (Friday) from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., in online format.
The Ruse Chamber of Commerce and Industry invites all business representatives from the region – both established companies and start-up entrepreneurs planning to open an e-store – to join the training. The seminar will provide valuable practical information aimed at protecting the interests of both merchants and consumers, and will help participants build a more reliable and legally compliant online business.
During the webinar, key topics related to the daily practice of online merchants will be discussed, including:
- terms and conditions for returning products and the consumer's right to withdraw from the contract;
- transportation costs and their regulation;
- safety of goods sold online;
- mandatory information that must be present on the merchant's website;
- legal and commercial warranty;
- unsolicited commercial messages (SPAM);
- alternative dispute resolution and the role of the European Consumer Centre in cross-border cases.
