Rousse Chamber of Commerce and Industry presents an open invitation for a business delegation whose purpose is to hold a series of business meetings in the region of Sicily, Italy. Organized by the management of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, together with the Office for Commercial and Economic Affairs of Bulgaria in Milan and the Association of Entrepreneurs in Sicily, the upcoming event will be held in the period from May 19 to 22, 2024 in the cities of Milazzo and Catania in Sicily, Italy.
Business meetings in Sicily will be focused on various sectors such as energy, tourism, transport and logistics, import-export trade, information technology and others. Italy is one of Bulgaria's largest trading partners, representing a significant economic power with its GNP and large population.
In the period 2022-2023, the most exported goods from Bulgaria to Italy include refined copper and copper alloys, biodiesel, sheets and metal sheets, food and beverage packaging, shoe parts, textiles and others. On the other hand, Italy's imports into Bulgaria include goods such as silver, tractors, passenger cars, agricultural machinery, energy equipment, tobacco products, medicines and others.
There is significant potential for expanding trade relations between Bulgaria and Italy in the fields of investment, trade and joint projects. Therefore, we invite everyone to participate in the business delegation that will take part in the meetings in Sicily. Companies can express their interest through pre-registration until May 9, 2024.
The preliminary program envisages a two-day stay in Milazzo and one day in Catania, including meetings with the Chamber of Commerce of Sicily, local institutions, a round table with investors from the various sectors and meetings with mayors and company visits.
Interested companies can pre-register by May 9 /Thursday/ 2024 at the latest.
