On October 22 (Wednesday) at 10:00 a.m. in the "St. George" hall of the Regional Administration - Ruse will take place information meeting dedicated to Bulgaria's preparation for the introduction of the euro from January 1, 2026.

The event is part of the national campaign of the Ministry of Finance, aimed at raising awareness among businesses, institutions and citizens about the practical aspects, main stages and deadlines of the euro introduction process.

The initiative will be opened and moderated by the regional governor Dragomir Draganov, who emphasizes the importance of this process for the economic development and stability of the country.

The meeting will be divided into two panels, with the first expected to be attended by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Transport and Communications Grozdan Karadjov, Minister of Education and Science Krasimir Valchev, Head of the Regional Department of Education Dr. Rositsa Georgieva, Chief Director of the Issue Department at the Bulgarian National Bank Georgi Chanev, Mayor of Ruse Pencho Milkov, as well as representatives of other institutions and experts.

The Ruse Chamber of Commerce and Industry encourages companies and organizations from the region to join the meeting to learn about the upcoming changes and opportunities that the introduction of the euro will bring.
