The Ruse Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) is pleased to inform businesses in the region about the opportunity to funded participation in a business mission to Japan and the Republic of Korea Green and Low-Carbon Technologies Korea 2025, which will be held in the period June 9 – 13, 2025 The initiative is part of the program EU Business Hub and provides a unique chance to 50 European SMEs, including start-ups, expand their international presence, establish strategic partnerships and learn about the latest innovations in the field of green and low-carbon technologies.

Target audience

European SMEs, including start-ups and South Korean enterprises involved in the green and low-carbon technology sector, such as:

• clean energy technologies,
• energy systems,
• environmental monitoring analysis and evaluation equipment,
• sustainability,
• technologies and solutions for the environment and
• technologies and solutions for climate change mitigation.

South Korean business operators, in particular buyers, distributors and R&D partners in the public and private sectors, as well as investors. 

Business Mission Program

The business mission in Seoul will last a total of five days, including three days for establishing business contacts and meetings; visiting the exhibition ENVEX, as well as visits to various companies and institutions.

The agenda of the business mission is as follows:

• Day 1: Arrival in Seoul, welcome
• Day 2: Orientation session, training
• Day 3: Business meetings and networking within ENVEX
• Day 4: Business meetings and networking within ENVEX
• Day 5: Business meetings and networking within ENVEX, closing session

Services/benefits that EU participants will receive

In case of selection, any EU SME representative participating in the programme is entitled to benefit from:

• Business meetings: pre-arranged personal meetings with carefully selected Korean businesses.
• Market information, including sector briefings providing information on market structure and opportunities.
• Cultural and language support.
• Financial support for a range of additional personalized services co-financed by the project (e.g. interpretation, legal advice, others) totaling up to €1000 are covered by the program.
• Hotel accommodation Grand InterContinental Seoul Parnas for four nights – a total of up to €1000 for accommodation is covered by the program.
• Covering the ENVEX attendance fee
