Meeting agenda

During the event, the opportunities that the project offers for micro, small and medium-sized enterprises from Northern Bulgaria will be presented. Participants will learn about the role of the World Bank and the personalized services provided for businesses, as well as the mentoring, training and support programs for growth and internationalization of companies.

The event will provide an opportunity for discussion on current issues of local business. The information collected will be used to analyze the needs of companies and plan future initiatives to support enterprises.

Meeting participants

The meeting will be attended by World Bank representatives from Slovenia and Spain, Mr. Boyko Takov, Executive Director of BSMEPA, and experts from the Agency involved in the project implementation. The event will be supported by RCCI specialists to ensure local coordination.

Participation in the event is completely free. The number of places is limited, with priority given to companies that are members of the Ruse Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

About the project

The meeting is taking place within the framework of Project No. BG16RFPR001-1.009-0001-C01 "Providing comprehensive services to enterprises from the Northern regions of Bulgaria in order to support their sustainable development and growth by supporting the activities of BSMEPA", financed under Competitiveness and Innovation in Enterprises Program 2021-2027

The main objective of the project is to increase the competitiveness and sustainable development of SMEs in the Northern regions of Bulgaria by providing comprehensive services in areas such as business awareness, access to financing, business development and market presence.

The project envisages supporting a total of 300 SMEs in the Northern regions of Bulgaria with personalized services from the World Bank and mobile teams that will visit a minimum of 2,500 enterprises in the region. Activities are focused on supporting micro, small and medium-sized enterprises in all areas of Northern Bulgaria.
