Business Mission "EU Business Hub @ Smart Energy Week Spring 2025"

The Ruse Chamber of Commerce and Industry presents information about the business mission EU Business Hub @ Smart Energy Week Spring 2025, which will be held from February 17 to 21, 2025. This event is your portal to innovation in Japan.
What is it?
Thanks to the EU Business Hub @ Smart Energy Week Spring 2025, 50 European small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), including start-ups in the renewable energy sector, will visit Japan and start their internationalization. Participants will participate in Smart Energy Week, a high-class trade show that brings together companies from the field of renewable energy production technologies. The exhibition in the spring of 2023 was visited by over 65,000 participants.
Target audience
The EU Business Hub @ Smart Energy Week Spring 2025 represents a valuable opportunity to:
- European SMEs and start-ups engaged in the renewable energy sector, including technologies such as hydrogen and fuel cells, solar energy, batteries, smart grids, wind energy, biomass and zero-emission thermal generation.
- Japanese business operators, including buyers, distributors and R&D partners in the public and private sectors.
- Japanese investors.
Business Mission Program
The Tokyo business mission will last five days, including three days dedicated to an exhibition, business meetings and networking events, as well as sector analyzes and a study visit. The program of the business mission is as follows:
- Day 1: Arrival in Tokyo, welcome and networking event.
- Day 2: Briefing session, sector analyses, study visit.
- Day 3: Exhibition, networking events and Smart Energy Week business meetings, networking reception.
- Day 4: Exhibition, networking events and business meetings at Smart Energy Week.
- Day 5: Exhibition, networking events and business meetings at Smart Energy Week, closing session.

If selected, each European SME participating in the program will receive:
- Business meetings: pre-arranged personal meetings with carefully selected Japanese businesses.
- Market information.
- Cultural and language support.
- Financial support for additional personalized services co-financed by the program (e.g. translation, legal advice, stand decoration) - up to a total of 1000 euros.
- Hotel accommodation (Grand Nikko Tokyo Daiba) for four nights - in total up to 1000 euros for accommodation.
- Covering the fee for participation in the Smart Energy Week exhibition.
