Regional Policy Forum "Social and Inclusive Entrepreneurship"

Ruse Chamber of Commerce and Industry has the pleasure and privilege to invite you to participate in regional policy forum – “Social and inclusive entrepreneurship".

The forum will be held on 13.10.2022 from 2:00 p.m. in the RCCI conference hall at Tsar Ferdinand Blvd. 3A.

Its purpose is to provide an opportunity for all interested persons and entities of the social economy to meet and to provide a structured approach for formulating policy proposals to support social and inclusive entrepreneurship, to be presented in a report with recommendations to the European Commission.

The program of the forum includes:

 14:00 – 14:30 Introduction to the topic

• Brief presentation of the LIASE project and the Better Incubation initiative - results and good practices
• Introduction to the methodology and a brief presentation of the participants

14:30 – 14:45 Assessment of the local ecosystem – weaknesses and strengths

14:45 – 15:00 Coffee break

15:00 – 16:00 – Policies to support social and inclusive entrepreneurship

 Small group discussions

Formulation of policy proposals

16:00 – 16:10 Conclusions and networking

The format of the event is interactive and will give participants the opportunity to share their expertise, find solutions to common problems and initiate new partnerships.

Representatives of institutions, the non-governmental sector, education, investors, traditional and social business and organizations representing the interests of various vulnerable groups are invited to participate in the forum. The forum takes place within the framework of the Better Caution initiative as part of the LIASE project.

Project LIAISE aims to achieve positive change in the entrepreneurial "ecosystem" by bringing business incubation and business support services closer to the whole society. The main priority of the project is to promote entrepreneurship as a means of full inclusion and self-employment of vulnerable groups. LIAISE Linking Incubation Actors for Inclusive and Social Entrepreneurship is an experience and knowledge exchange program implemented in partnership by the European Business Innovation Hub Network (EBN), Impact Hub and the European Venture Philanthropy Association (EVPA), and funded by European Commission (DG EMPL – EaSI)).
