SL Industries Ltd is an established company specializing in the production and supply of high quality metal components and assembled systems to the world's leading Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) in the industrial, construction and port industries. With a view to expanding the team, we are looking for a qualified Machine park maintenance mechanic, to join our professional team.
Main Responsibilities:
- Execution of installation, setup and test of equipment and facilities (metalworking machines and supporting units);
- Diagnostics and repair of production machinery and equipment, in order to minimize downtime and increase efficiency;
- Prevention and maintenance of the machine park according to the maintenance plans;
- Detection and resolution of mechanical and technical problems;
- Record keeping for performed repair work and used parts;
- Assisting the engineering team in the installation and commissioning of new equipment.
Requirements:
- Secondary or higher technical education in mechanical, electrical or mechanical engineering;
- Practical experience in a similar position (maintenance of metalworking machines is an advantage);
- Skills for self diagnosis and technical troubleshooting;
- Precision, attention to detail and teamwork skills;
- Organization and ability to work under pressure;
- Experience with technical documentation and plans for maintenance.
