Ruse Chemicals JSC

Ruse Chemicals JSC is a leading producer of phthalic and maleic anhydride in Eastern Europe and part of the international group Polycolor. The company's headquarters are located in Ruse, and it has its own production facility with an area of over 110,000 sq m. The main shareholder is Whitebeam Holdings Ltd. - a holding company owned by Polycolor (Romania), headquartered in Malta.

The production plant of Ruse Chemicals, built under license from BASF, has been operating since 1991 and includes a capacity for 22,000 tons of phthalic anhydride and 700 tons of maleic anhydride per year. It also includes crystallization and packaging facilities, a demineralized water installation, as well as a thermal waste treatment system, ensuring a waste-free production process. The company's products find a market in a number of European countries, including Turkey, Romania, Germany, Italy, Greece, Ukraine and Bulgaria.
