RTIK launches work on a financial literacy project
Introducing the FINMAN+ project
We are proud to announce the launch of the FINMAN+ project, funded by the Erasmus+ programme. This initiative brings together a consortium of seven European partners dedicated to the critical need for financial literacy among adults. By fostering innovation, inclusion and collaboration, FINMAN+ aims to equip educators and young people with the tools and skills they need to thrive in a rapidly evolving financial environment.
Our goals and objectives
The FINMAN+ project is guided by the pursuit of the following objectives:
- Providing opportunities for teachers: To equip educators with innovative methodologies, tools and resources to effectively teach financial literacy, ensuring that they can adapt to the diverse needs of learners.
- Improving the qualifications of young people: Providing personalized training programs that enable young people to develop financial literacy skills necessary to manage their personal and professional lives.
- Improving accessibility: Developing comprehensive teaching methods to address gaps in financial education for disadvantaged groups, ensuring that no one is left behind.
- Promoting innovation: Creating learning approaches based on scenarios, projects and digital technologies that make financial literacy engaging, practical and impactful.
The challenges we want to overcome
Financial literacy is crucial in today's world, but many young people and educators lack access to effective training. The main challenges the project aims to address include:
- Diverse needs: Adapting education to the diverse needs of learners and educators in Europe.
- Digital gaps: Integrating technology into learning, ensuring accessibility for all.
- Barriers to integration: Reaching disadvantaged groups who may not have access to financial education opportunities.
- Sustainability: Developing tools and methodologies that remain relevant and useful after the end of the project.
