Welding Engineer, Welding Coordinator

"TM-Technology" AD is looking for an experienced and motivated engineer to take on a key role in the coordination and control of welding processes in our large-scale production of large-sized metal structures.

Job Description:

• Monitors and coordinates the production process with regard to welding according to the requirements in EN ISO 14731.
• Maintains acquired welding certificates according to the requirements of the standards.
• Checks welding requirements for structures being manufactured.
• Corresponds with clients and certification organizations on welding-related issues.
• Maintains and develops the qualification and training of welders.
• Maintains qualification of welding procedures.
• Develops the necessary technological documents and welding instructions.
• Monitors and coordinates necessary welding control activities.
• Develops repair technologies and supervises repair and corrective welding activities;
• Reviews requests for quotes from customers and submits welding cost data.
• Determines the need for additional certification and qualification of welding procedures depending on customer requirements.

Requirements for applicants:

• Education – higher technical education in the field of mechanical engineering, materials science, welding;
• Additional qualification -IWI/IWE;
• Knowledge of applicable international standards related to welding;
• Good knowledge of basic mechanical engineering processes;
• Computer literacy – Microsoft Office AutoCad and SolidWorks (advantage);
• English language – working level;
• Experience in a similar position;
• Initiative, teamwork skills, communication skills, energy, ability to take responsibility.
