Building a Digital Club in Ruse

“Digital Club Ruse” is a project implemented by The Ruse Chamber of Commerce and Industry with financial support from European Union through the NextGenerationEUmechanism. The project aims to establish and equip a digital club in the city of Ruse to support the improvement of citizens’ digital skills and practical digital literacy.

As part of its activities, the digital club will provide support for access to electronic information systems and e-services. Participants will receive assistance in gaining access to key electronic platforms and tools such as the e-gov.bg portal, the systems for electronic authentication and electronic service, as well as to essential public information systems and e-banking services.

The club will also serve as a place for information and guidance toward voucher-based training opportunities funded by national and European programmes, including training for acquiring and improving digital competences in line with the European DigComp 2.1 Framework, as well as training for professional qualification and career development.

Project Objectives

The main objective of “Digital Club Ruse” is:

  • To contribute to improving digital skills and confidence in using e-services and technologies.

The project also aims to:

  • Facilitate citizens’ access to electronic administrative services and digital financial tools;
  • Support lifelong learning and participation in training for digital skills and professional qualification.

Expected Results

The project will lead to:

  • An established and fully operational digital club in the city of Ruse;
  • Improved digital literacy and skills for working with e-services among citizens;
  • Enhanced awareness of and access to training for digital skills, professional qualification, and career development;
  • Sustainable operation of the club as part of the national network of digital clubs.

Free Services and Access

All services, trainings, and consultations provided within the Digital Club in Rusewill be entirely free of charge. Access to the club is open and available to all interested persons, in accordance with the terms of the funding programme.
