The Ruse Chamber of Commerce and Industry is pleased to announce the return of the Balkan eCommerce Summit 2025 to Sofia for two days full of opportunities on April 29-30, 2025. in Arena Sofia. The main organizer of the event is Nikola Ilchev, founder and driving force behind the Balkan eCommerce Summit 2025. With his rich expertise and vision, the event quickly grew from a regional to a globally significant one. "Organizing such a forum is a challenge, but we see the great opportunity to connect markets and develop e-commerce in the region," says Ilchev. As one of the largest e-commerce forums in the Balkans, this year's edition is expected to gather over 4,000 online business owners, service providers, innovators and digital marketing specialists, and over 200 exhibitors from leading regional and global companies will present the best working solutions in the industry.
Program for the two-day event
Day 1: Large-scale exhibition and opportunities for business contacts
The forum begins with a large exhibition, including over 200 exhibitors from various sectors – e-commerce, SaaS solutions, logistics and digital marketing. Visitors will be able to get acquainted with the latest developments in software solutions, logistics and payment services, gaining valuable experience for the development of their business.
New in this year's edition are the special business meeting areas created to establish useful contacts with key partners, investors and industry colleagues.
After the end of the first day, there will be an exclusive Balkan party with live music, dancing and entertainment with the participation of the most popular local artists. In typical Balkan style, the party will recreate the colorful spirit of the region and is a great way to celebrate the development of e-commerce in the Balkans.

The second day is filled with knowledge and experience shared by world-renowned speakers who will discuss digital transformation, leadership, innovation and new trends in e-commerce, on a purpose-built central stage. These keynote sessions will provide participants with a comprehensive set of strategies and guidelines for navigating the changing digital environment. Keynote speakers who will inspire participants with their stories and expertise are scheduled for the second day:
- Jeff Hoffman – Internationally recognized entrepreneur, visionary and founder of initiatives such as World Youth Horizons and chairman of the board of the Global Entrepreneurship Network. Jeff also runs Jeff Hoffman Advisory Services and is a founding board member of the Unreasonable Group.
- Pascal Brochier – Top executive of major e-commerce companies including Gillette, Vivendi Universal Games and Electronic Arts, and strategic consultant.
- Ahmed Hassan – Proven leader in digital transformation and e-commerce, with extensive experience in emerging markets. Ahmed is a partner at CEO Coaching International, a leading executive and entrepreneur coaching company focused on growth and sustainable development.
- David Henzel – Serial entrepreneur and founder of multiple successful companies including UpCoach and Managing Happiness. David will share practical tips for motivating teams and achieving long-term success.
