RTIK launched a new initiative to support financial literacy

Rousse Chamber of Commerce and Industry starts work on the FINMAN+ project, a continuation of the already ended FINMAN initiative, again financed by the Erasmus+ program. This idea brings together a consortium of seven European partners who are dedicated to addressing the urgent need for financial literacy among youth and young adults. By fostering innovation and collaboration, FINMAN+ aims to provide educators and young people with the tools and skills needed to succeed in the ever-evolving financial environment.

Our goals

The FINMAN+ project sets itself the following main goals:

  1. Assisting trainers: Providing teaching opportunities through innovative methodologies, tools and resources so they can deliver financial literacy knowledge effectively and adaptively.
  2. Upskilling of young people: Providing customized training programs to help develop vital financial skills.
  3. Increasing accessibility: Developing learning practices to bridge gaps in financial education for vulnerable groups.
  4. Encouraging innovation: Creating scenario-based, project-based and digital learning approaches that make financial literacy engaging and effective.

The challenges we want to overcome

Financial literacy is essential in today's world, but many young people and educators lack access to effective training. Key challenges include:

  • Diverse needs: Adapting training to the different requirements of learners and trainers in Europe.
  • Digital gaps: Integrating technology into learning while ensuring accessibility for all.
  • Inclusion of vulnerable groups: Reaching vulnerable groups with limited opportunities for financial education.
  • Sustainability: Develop tools and methodologies that remain relevant and useful after the project is completed.
