Adopted changes to the "Save me" project: Employers will be able to submit documents for the new design of the measure
The Employment Agency informs all employers, workers and employees applying under the "Save Me" project that in no. 2 of the State Gazette of today, 08.01.2021, Resolution No. 418 of the Council of Ministers of 30.12.2020 amending and supplementing PMS No. 325/26.11.2020 was promulgated.
The new Decree regulates the following changes in the "Save Me" project:
- If the working day lasts 8 hours, agreed in the basic employment contract, the compensation will be in the amount of 75 percent of the monthly insurance income for the month of October 2020 for the relevant position of the person insured in accordance with Art. 4, para. 1, item 1 of the Social Security Code in economic activities for which temporary restrictions on their implementation have been introduced by an act of a state body. In the case of part-time work, the amount of compensation is determined in proportion to the agreed working hours in the main employment contract effective at the time of the unpaid leave for which compensation is paid.
– The period for receiving compensation is extended, and it will be until 31.03.2021. Persons will be entitled to compensation for no more than 60 days within the calendar year in which they used unpaid leave in connection with restrictions imposed by act of a state body to carry out the activity for which they were hired.
The changes come into effect on January 1, 2021.
Employers will be able to submit documents for compensation according to the current restrictive measures and the amended conditions under the "Save Me" project for the past month. In the event of an extension of the term of the restrictive measures and a change in the act of the state body, the Employment Agency will publish additional instructions.
The application documents for the new admission after 31.01.2021 can be found here.
Applications for the payment of funds for the period from October 29 to December 31, 2020 continue to be accepted and will be considered and financed according to the previous procedure for the payment of up to BGN 24 per full-time employee.
