We would like to share the progress in the development of our comprehensive Digital Twin project training course designed to prepare future professionals with core skills in Digital Twin technology and smart manufacturing. This program targets the needs of IT and OT professionals, preparing them for the challenges of a rapidly changing digital environment.

Overview of the training course

The Digital Twin in Smart Manufacturing training course is a 450-hour program divided into ten modules, each focusing on key aspects of Digital Twin technology and related areas. Modules cover everything from basic topics to advanced applications, providing a comprehensive learning experience for participants of varying backgrounds.

The course includes the following modules:

Module 1 – Introduction (60 hours)
Covers core topics such as PLC programming, 3D drawings and IoT integration. In addition, the course offers an introduction to programming (Python, C#) to build a solid foundation for participants.

Module 2 – Digital Twins (45 hours)
A theoretical module providing an overview of Digital Twin at different levels – 2D, 3D and virtual commissioning, preparing learners with basic concepts for advanced manufacturing processes.

Module 3 - Virtual Commissioning (60 hours)
Through hands-on exercises, participants will understand how virtual commissioning works and how to simulate real production scenarios before implementation.

Module 4 - Virtual support (60 hours)
A highly theoretical module that focuses on maintaining systems through virtual models, ensuring that learners understand how to effectively maintain equipment even in remote settings.

Module 5 - Business Intelligence (45 hours)
This module provides skills in using business intelligence tools, improving the decision-making process through the analysis of data from Digital Twins.

Module 6 – Virtual Environment (45 hours)
Participants will learn about artificial intelligence and augmented reality, learning advanced techniques in AI and how it integrates with Digital Twins.

Module 7 - Industrial Cyber Security (45 hours)
It focuses on the need to protect industrial systems by teaching participants cyber security protocols in Digital Twin environments.

Module 8 – Other technologies (45 hours)
It explores key technologies such as robotics, reverse engineering and cloud computing, providing essential skills for the modern manufacturing environment.

Module 9 - Green Transformation (25 hours)
This module introduces sustainable manufacturing practices, emphasizing the impact of the Digital Twin on sustainability, energy efficiency and waste management.

Module 10 - Entrepreneurship and creating incubators (20 hours)
It trains participants in entrepreneurial skills, preparing them to create and manage startups and incubators in the field of Digital Twin technologies.

Upon completion of the course, participants will be well prepared with the technical expertise and practical skills required to succeed in today's manufacturing industry. Training has the potential to open doors to a variety of career opportunities in a variety of industries.
