Online seminar explaining the transition to a free electricity market

The Association of Industrial Capital in Bulgaria (AIKB) and the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) are pleased to invite you to an online seminar on the topic: "Transition of non-household electricity consumers to a free market from 01.10.2020", which will be held on September 2, 2020 (Wednesday) at 10:00 a.m. via remote connection via the ZOOM platform.

On June 26, 2020, the Law on Amendments and Supplements to the Energy Law was promulgated - number 57 of the State Gazette, the Court recalls. As a result of the changes made from October 1, 2020, non-domestic customers connected to the electricity distribution network - low voltage must enter the free market. This is another step towards the complete liberalization of the electricity market. The aim is to ensure competition between electricity suppliers under better conditions for users, tailored to their specific consumption profiles.

The purpose of holding the seminar is to ask the questions and find the best possible answers in relation to the upcoming changes in the electricity market from October 1, 2020 for non-household customers.

More information about the procedure can be found on the AIKB website at http://bica-bg.org/, where recommendations are published for SMEs for a timely transition to the free energy market.

You can register for participation in the seminar by August 31, 2020 at the address office@bica-bg.org, indicating your names, position and the company you represent.
