An analysis of the Bulgarian corporate sector from 2022 reveals strong growth, with the revenues of all active companies jumping by 34% to BGN 611.5 billion. The leading 100 companies showed an almost twice as fast increase in turnover – 60%. The profits of these companies have increased by 27% compared to the previous year, reaching almost BGN 8 billion. The leading sector for another year is trade, with profits of BGN 10.7 billion, followed by the processing industry and energy.

The Austrian company Gebauer & Griller Group (GG Group) has announced plans for an investment of BGN 60 million in a new factory for automotive components in Ruse. The project will provide around 400 new jobs, strengthening the local economy and maintaining the tradition of Rousse as an industrial center.
