RTIK launched a new project aimed at the preservation and protection of NATURA 2000 sites

Only three months ago it became clear that we would have the opportunity to start work on a new ambitious project: Digital Educational Geoinformatics Methodologies for Landscape Monitoring (GEOLAND). Don't be fooled by the long name, in fact the project aims to protect NATURA 2000 sites by relying on innovative geoinformation systems and landscape monitoring. At the heart of the project is the idea of Citizen Science, and this is no surprise, since the goal is also a mass information campaign to awaken society to the urgent problems of monitoring changes in our surrounding nature.

Project "EYES: Encouraging the Entrepreneurial Spirit" is entering its final phase

Over the past months, the project consortium has been working hard to create training to support young entrepreneurs to start their own entrepreneurial activity and/or business. In the coming months, the training itself will start, and three of the young entrepreneurs who took part will have the opportunity to participate in a three-day exchange that will take place in Germany. The three-day event will give them the opportunity to meet other young entrepreneurs from Europe, with whom they can exchange experiences and good practices.

The Rousse Chamber of Commerce and Industry informs that there is an upcoming Summit of the "Three Seas" Initiative, which will take place in Bulgaria on July 8-9, 2021. It will include representatives of business, chambers of commerce, institutions, media and the heads of state of the countries of the initiative: Austria, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Romania, Slovakia and Slovenia.
