We awarded the winners of the RTIK Essay Contest

In a short ceremony today in the conference hall of RTIK, the prizes were awarded to the winners of the essay competition on the occasion of the 130th anniversary of the establishment of the Chamber. Arzu Mehmed, Monika Velikova and Yana Peneva received their awards from RTIK Executive Director Milen Dobrev, in the presence of jury representatives from the Municipality of Ruse and Regional Library "Lyuben Karavelov", as well as teachers of the young talents.

I, Arzu Mehmed, am already 36 years old…. I am the general director of the Bulgarian-German corporation "Schiffe der Zukunft" ("Ships of the Future") from the Bulgarian side. Tonight, I am invited to the solemn ceremony of awarding the "Most successful young industrialist of Ruse" award on the occasion of the chamber's 150th anniversary. I am nominated for this high award by the Board of Directors of the "Ships of the Future" corporation at the suggestion of the executive director from the German side, my colleague Hans Schmidt.

In a short online presentation RTIK will present the results of the closing Your Local Guide project under the Erasmus+ program. The project started in 2018, and aims to support those who want to start their own business in the field of tourism, promotion and management of tourist destinations, such as tourist guides and others.
