Only three months ago it became clear that we would have the opportunity to start work on a new ambitious project: Digital Educational Geoinformatics Methodologies for Landscape Monitoring (GEOLAND). Don't be fooled by the long name, in fact the project aims to protect NATURA 2000 sites by relying on innovative geoinformation systems and landscape monitoring. At the heart of the project is the idea of Citizen Science, and this is no surprise, since the goal is also a mass information campaign to awaken society to the urgent problems of monitoring changes in our surrounding nature.
RTIC is conducting a Signing Banks project study to help identify the gaps that need to be addressed in creating a quality set of training materials to support the financial inclusion of people with hearing loss/deaf people.
Over the past months, the project consortium has been working hard to create training to support young entrepreneurs to start their own entrepreneurial activity and/or business. In the coming months, the training itself will start, and three of the young entrepreneurs who took part will have the opportunity to participate in a three-day exchange that will take place in Germany. The three-day event will give them the opportunity to meet other young entrepreneurs from Europe, with whom they can exchange experiences and good practices.

Desislava Dimitrova – Expert in European programs and projects at the Ruse Chamber of Commerce and Industry, became part of an international group for good practices in the incubation of young social entrepreneurs. The group was formed as part of the Better Incubation program (http://betterincubation.eu/) and aims to survey and select the best practices in supporting young entrepreneurs wishing to develop their social business.
According to the World Tourism Organization, global trade is expected to fall by between 13% and 32 % this year due to the disruption of normal lifestyles and economic activity around the world due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The economy should be restarted immediately after the crisis ends, with tourism expected to play a major role in stimulating consumption and revitalizing the economy.
