The GenAISA project, funded under the Erasmus+ program, is designed to address the skills gap in the field of Generative Artificial Intelligence (AI). Generative AI is a rapidly evolving technology with the potential to transform industries, creating a need for new skills and professional profiles.

Main Objectives:

  • Develop higher education (HE) and vocational education and training (VET) curricula tailored to the needs of the labor market.
  • Prepare professionals to design and use generative AI solutions with a focus on ethical and safe practices.
  • Build workplace resilience skills through specialized training programs.

Project results:

  1. Competence Map and ESCO-Compliant Profiles: Creation of profiles such as "Generative AI Engineer" and "Prompt Engineer," aligned with European standards.
  2. Two Curricula: One for higher education and one for vocational education and training, promoting microlearning and challenge-based learning.
  3. Digital Skills Passport: A tool for validating technical and transversal skills, facilitating targeted career planning.
  4. Massive Open Online Course (MOOC): An online platform providing access to the curricula.
  5. Virtual World for Training: An innovative environment for building resilience and tackling workplace challenges.

Target Groups:

  • University and vocational school students.
  • ICT specialists and professionals from other industries using generative AI.
  • Education and training providers, enterprises, and policymakers.

The project will be piloted in five countries (Greece, Bulgaria, Spain, Finland, and Lithuania) with the participation of over 200 individuals. The learning materials and curricula will emphasize microlearning and challenge-based learning approaches.

Expected Impact: GenAISA will create an innovative ecosystem for the co-design of educational programs, contributing to the development of resilient and well-equipped professionals across Europe.
