Approved project for industrial park LVZ - Ruse according to the Recovery and Sustainability Plan

The Ruse Chamber of Commerce and Industry informs its members and partners about the approved project for the industrial park LVZ - Ruse, which is part of the National Plan for Recovery and Sustainability. The project was ranked first in the procedure for the development of industrial zones and parks and received funding from the Ministry of Innovation and Growth (MIR) in the amount of BGN 26 million.

The Minister of Innovation and Growth, Associate Professor Rosen Karadimov, emphasized that Ruse is a city that has managed to preserve its traditional industrial appearance and is a proud industrial center of Bulgaria. He stated that the re-industrialization of the country has no alternative and that industrial parks will attract investors, provide new jobs and stimulate the development of innovation.

The LVZ - Ruse industrial park project includes the construction of a modern and high-tech industrial park on the territory of the old enterprise for the repair of locomotives and wagons in the Eastern industrial zone of the city. Within the framework of the project, reconstruction and construction of infrastructure, a new street network, repair of an overpass over the railway line, rehabilitation of the street lane and construction of a new parking lot will be carried out.

Also, the construction of a Research and Development Center together with the "Angel Kanchev" University of Ruse will be supported. This will provide opportunities for innovation and technological advancement in the region. The project is part of the total investment in LVZ, which exceeds BGN 100 million.

Minister Karadimov also presented the opportunities for business support under the Investment Promotion Act, the Bulgarian Investment Agency and the Bulgarian Development Bank (BDB). He emphasized the new strategy of the BDB, which allows advance financing for the implementation of projects, with zones and parks as a priority.

The event was attended by the deputy mayors of the Ruse municipality Dimitar Nedev, Nikola Lazarov and Borislav Rachev, the regional governor Dragomir Draganov, the chairman of the Ruse Municipal Council Hristo Beloev, Acting Academician. chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Bulgarian Development Bank Delyana Ivanova and the manager of the company Industrial Park LVZ Spasimir Dimitrov.

Also present were representatives of Bulmarket Group AD, members of the Ruse Chamber of Commerce and Industry, represented by the executive director Mr. Momchil Boyadzhiev. This participation emphasizes the importance of the project for local business and for the development of the economy in the region.

The LVZ - Ruse industrial park project is of great importance for the economic development of the region and the attraction of high-tech investors. Its implementation is expected to contribute to overcoming regional imbalances and creating new opportunities for business in Rousse and its surroundings.
