Bulletin #2: New steps in the development of the QSA4Disability standard
Introducing the second newsletter of the project „"QSA4Disability - Quality Standard for distance Apprenticeship 4 Disability"“. In this stage of the project, we and our partners are focusing on identifying the barriers facing people with hearing impairments and developing practical solutions for business and education.
Main highlights in the new issue:
Development of andQSA4Disability Toolkit. In the first year of the project, the partners started work on creating a specialized training toolkit. It is aimed at VET organizations, companies and the students themselves, aiming to facilitate the internship process and guarantee its quality.
Overcoming barriers. The bulletin examines key challenges facing people with hearing impairments in the labor market – from communication difficulties and limited access to materials to a lack of awareness in the work environment.
Digital innovation. Work continues on building the online platform. e-SPACE and Collaboration Network. These resources will serve for interactive learning, tracking progress during the internship, and sharing valuable experiences between participants.
The QSA4Disability project aims to create a more inclusive environment in the EU by developing a quality standard that promotes equality and improves the employment of young people (14-18 years old) with hearing disabilities.
