8 Bulgarian companies will participate in a trade mission under the CLOTH project in Milan February 01-03, 2023.

Trade mission under the CLOTH project and the ClusterXchange program, organized during the MILANO UNICA fair by Bulgarian Fashion Association, will take place in Milan, 01-03 February 2023. 15 organizations including SMEs and business support organizations from Bulgaria, Denmark, Spain and France will take part in this short-term experience exchange trip in the EU-supported project CLOTH. There are eight Bulgarian companies, members of the BMA, which will receive funding under the project to reimburse their costs in the amount of 450 euros - Minoar, Piros, Bulammas, Intera, Brutale, DIR Styles, NaChe Academy, Brands Fashion Lab.

January 26, 2023 – Rousse / Copenhagen / Aix-en-Provence / Barcelona / Yas: The CLOTH project, the European alliance that brings together individuals, companies and clusters working on the transformation of the fashion sector towards sustainability and digital technologies, announces the latest information about the ClusterXchange event in Milan, Italy. It will take place from 1 to 3 February 2023 and will include a visit to Milano Unica, the international high-end textile fair, and Raffles Milano, a fashion school with an unconventional spirit and method that has assembled a great team of teachers, in many cases leading names on the international style and design scene.

The ClusterXchange travel program scheme aims to facilitate the exchange of experience and best practices between SMEs and clusters. ClusterXChange in Milan will take participants to Milano Unica to explore and find sustainable and innovative textiles and accessories and learn what the fashion trends are for Spring Summer 2024. During the event, ClusterXChange participants will also visit Raffles Milano and learn about sustainability and creativity in the fashion system and innovative biomaterials for fashion and design. They will also meet Raffles students and learn about their projects.

ClusterXChange is hosted by CNA Lombardia – branch of the Italian Confederation of Crafts and Small and Medium Enterprises responsible for the Lombardy region. In an organized B2B, B2C and C2C meeting on February 1, participants will meet Italian fashion companies, members of CNA Lombardia and the Made in Italy cluster and identify the potential for joint future projects. On February 2, they will also meet with the president of the Italian textile innovation cluster Po.in.tex.

On the final day of ClusterXChange, participants will explore Italian fashion and gain inspiration and business opportunities at the Italian concept stores and platforms Modes Milano and Antonia Milano.

About the CLOTH Project:

The CLOTH project – CLuster Alliance for the Transition to Green and Digital Fashion – is a new alliance aiming to create a favorable ecosystem of relevant stakeholders from a cross-sector perspective, promoting a greener, smarter and more competitive and innovative European fashion industry.

The CLOTH project is an integrated cross-sectoral partnership with 5 partners from 5 European countries (Spain, Bulgaria, Romania, Denmark and France) working on different value chains: fashion and textiles, circular economy, creative industry and digital technologies. During the EU-supported CLOTH project, a minimum of 100 short-term exchanges will be organized between targeted members of clusters located in other countries.
