A business forum discussed the prospects and challenges for the development of companies in the Ruse region

The meeting with the business is part of the celebrations on the occasion of 129 years since the establishment of the "I Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce" - Ruse, whose direct successor is the Ruse Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Nearly 50 representatives of small, medium and large companies participated in the business forum organized on April 15 by the Ruse Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The event was also honored by the local institutions, in the person of Valentin Kolev, deputy regional governor, and Anelia Georgieva, head of the SDZP department in the Municipality of Ruse.

The meeting began with a visit to two large companies that are developing business in Ruse - "Bulmarket" and "Vitte Automotive".

The highlight of the event itself was the presentation by Tsvetan Simeonov - chairman of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Association of Bulgarian Employers' Organizations. He drew attention to the new opportunities that the BCCI offers to its more than 53,000 members, including simplified access to the Commercial Register, certification of goods for export, access to the international system of standardized marking by barcode, arbitration courts and many others.

The Ruse Chamber of Commerce and Industry presented the new vision of the organization, including the new website, logo, and services provided for business. There was also a presentation on an international project with the participation of RTIK, which deals with corporate social responsibility.

In the subsequent discussion, the business representatives were interested in the possibilities for the development of services for companies, the role of arbitration courts, the cooperation between the various branch organizations in Bulgaria, the electronic government, and others.
