Bulgarian-Japanese seminar on economic relations between Bulgaria and Japan

On September 20, 2019, a Bulgarian-Japanese seminar on economic relations between Bulgaria and Japan will be held in the building of Tokai University, Tokyo, Japan. The event is jointly organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Bulgaria in Tokyo and the Japan-Bulgaria Foundation on the occasion of the anniversaries of Bulgarian-Japanese relations, which in 2019 are celebrating their triple anniversary - 110 years since the beginning of official bilateral contacts, 80 years since the establishment of diplomatic relations and 60 years since their restoration.

Representatives of the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO), as well as Japanese companies showing interest in establishing business contacts with Bulgarians and those already present on the Bulgarian market, have been invited to participate in the event. The purpose of the event is to present the opportunities for the development of business relations between Japanese and Bulgarian companies, familiarization with the specifics and opportunities of the market, as well as the implementation of investment activities in priority sectors of the Bulgarian economy.

The Executive Agency for the Promotion of Small and Medium Enterprises (IANMSP) formed a business delegation led by Mrs. Lilia Ivanova, Deputy Minister of Economy of the Republic of Bulgaria for representatives of the following sectors of the Bulgarian economy: information technology and outsourcing of business processes, automotive industry and production of automotive parts, electronics, pharmaceuticals, agriculture, food industry and tourism, which will take part in the Bulgarian-Japanese seminar and bilateral meetings.

All expenses for plane tickets, hotel accommodation, medical insurance, domestic transport, transfers and per diems are at the expense of the participants. Those registered will be additionally sent information with financial parameters and a detailed program of the visit.
