Lecture "EU-Japan Partnership Agreement"

The Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Association of Tokai University Graduates, together with the Bulgarian-Japanese Business Council and the Embassy of Japan in Sofia, are organizing a lecture by H.E. Masato Watanabe, Ambassador of Japan to the Republic of Bulgaria, dedicated to Japanese-Bulgarian relations.

The lecture will take place on May 10, 2019 /Friday/ from 6:00 p.m. in the BTPP, 9 Iskar St., Sofia 1058. The event is being held under the sign of 3 round anniversaries that will be celebrated in 2019 - 110 years of the bilateral contacts, 80 years since the establishment of bilateral diplomatic relations and 60 years since their restoration. At the same time, the Tokai University Alumni Association is also celebrating its 25th anniversary.

Special guest of the lecture will be Akiko Igaya, chairman of the Japan-Bulgaria Friendship Association.

The lecture will touch on bilateral relations in politics, economy and culture, with a view to the entry into force of the Partnership Agreement between the EU and Japan. The working language of the event is English.
