Three Seas Initiative Business Forum

The Rousse Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry are pleased to inform you about the preparation of the second edition of a business forum within the framework of the "Three Seas" Initiative.

The event will be held in Ljubljana in the period June 5-6 this year hosted by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia and will accompany the summit of the heads of state of the countries of the Three Seas Initiative, in which he is expected to participate the President of the Republic of Bulgaria Rumen Radev.

The initiative includes 12 countries - Austria, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Romania, Slovakia and Slovenia, which are located between the Adriatic, Baltic and Black seas. The "Three Seas" initiative has already held three meetings - the first in Dubrovnik in 2016, the second in Warsaw in 2017 and the third in Bucharest in 2018.

The main objective of the Initiative is the strengthening of economic and political ties in the north-south direction. Since 2018, an accompanying business forum has also been held, which provides a unique opportunity to establish contacts with companies and institutions from the 12 countries covered by the Initiative.

The event in Ljubljana will focus on four key areas: energy, infrastructure, digitization and innovation, and will include the topics of transatlantic relations, security and water resources.

The business forum will be attended by over 500 participants from the private sector and governments of the Three Seas Initiative countries. High-ranking representatives of EU, US and German institutions and business representatives from the region are also expected to take part in the event.

Interested companies can declare their participation in the business forum in Ljubljana by May 9 /Thursday/ by sending the completed attached table to e-mail: m.markova@bcci.bg.

In terms of logistics, the BTPP will assist with accommodation for forum participants in Ljubljana, booking of plane tickets, transfers, insurance.
