Call for proposals: Initiative of the Ministry of Economy and Industry for dual studies in higher education

The Ministry of Economy and Industry invites you to submit proposals for the upcoming academic year 2023/2024 in accordance with the Ordinance on the terms and conditions for ensuring the payment of student training costs under a contract with an employer. This joint initiative with the Ministry of Education and Science aims to introduce elements of dual training in higher education and to support the implementation of dual training of personnel in the country.

The regulation regulates the conditions and procedure for applying and including employers in a list of employers who can conclude contracts with students, and provides for the financing of training costs from the state budget. After successfully completing the training, the students will work for a period of not less than 5 years with the employer under an employment contract, according to the completed education.

If you are interested in investing in the training of your staff and participating in this initiative, we kindly ask you to send your proposals formally and by email info@rcci.bg until March 31, 2023. Employers who applied under the initiative in the last academic year 2022/2023 and did not conclude a contract with students in specialties with a shortage of personnel will automatically be included in the list of proposals for employers in the academic year 2023/2024 and not you must submit new applications.
