An important step towards strengthening Bulgarian-Chinese trade relations: The visit of Mrs. Wang Min to RTIK

Today, the Ruse Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RTIK) welcomed high-ranking representatives from the Embassy of China in Bulgaria, including the acting ambassador, Mrs. Wang Ming. The meeting, which aimed to strengthen the already existing commercial and economic ties between Bulgaria and China, was marked by discussions of strategies for improving international cooperation and maintaining an active communication bridge between the two countries.

During the meeting, which was also attended by Ms. Ma Qi, Secretary to the Ambassador and Political Attaché, and Mr. Kon Linyu, Economic and Trade Advisor, as well as RTIC Executive Director, Mr. Milen Dobrev, and the deputy mayor of Ruse, Mrs. Zlatomyra Stefanova, the importance and potential of enhanced cooperation were emphasized. The main topics of the discussion were aimed at building and maintaining trade relations between Bulgaria and China and the presentation of companies with investment intentions in the region.

Special attention was paid to the intentions of maintaining an active bridge of communication between the Embassy of the People's Republic of China and the Ruse Chamber. This underlines the strategic importance of cooperation for the sustainable economic development of the region and for opening new opportunities for local businesses.

In the context of this dialogue, reference was also made to the recent signing of a Memorandum of Cooperation between RTIC and the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, Ningbo Committee (CCPIT-Ningbo), symbolizing the significant contribution to the long-term perspective of strengthening economic and trade ties between the two countries.

After the discussions in RTIK, Ms. Wan Min, in the company of Mr. Milen Dobrev and Ms. Zlatomira Stefanova, visited Bader Bulgaria and the Ruse Free Zone. They looked at the production of high-quality leather goods for the automotive industry in Bader Bulgaria, while a visit to the Ruse Free Zone highlighted the zone's importance as an economic hub, thanks to its strategic location and the customs benefits offered.

The visit of Ms. Wang Min and her team underlines China's commitment to expanding and strengthening cooperation with Bulgarian institutions and the business sector. This event lays the foundations for future initiatives that will help the dynamic development of bilateral relations, promoting investment, technological exchange and cultural understanding.
