BCCC recommends companies to participate in EUROPALATES survey

The Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) invites companies to participate in a study on the obstacles to cross-border business within the EU Single Market.

The single European market has been in existence for 25 years. Unfortunately, European companies are still uncertain about doing business in non-EU countries. Legislation, burdensome procedures, unclear requirements, these are just some of the reasons that prevent the full use of the potential of the Single Market. Almost 70% of entrepreneurs in Europe are of the opinion that the single market is not sufficiently well integrated.

The European Commission is preparing the start of the new legislative period in November this year under the leadership of President Ursula von der Leyen. This study aims to assess the shortcomings of the Single Market and help the European Commission set the right policy goals to overcome them.

The survey is conducted online until September 25 2019. Completing the questionnaire in Bulgarian takes less than 10 minutes.

The BCCI thanks you in advance for your participation in the survey and will inform you of the summary results after they are presented by the European Parliament.
