Competitions in the European Night of Scientists 2022 | SEARCH
As the regional organizer of the European Night of Scientists, RTIK is pleased to invite all students with creative thinking, interest in science and the environment to participate in the two national competitions organized within the framework of a project SEARCH (Science + Environment + Art = Sustainability for the European Night of Scientists).
The two contests have a deadline of 22.09.2022, and a jury of scientists will announce the winners and runners-up in each of the categories in the two contests. There will also be an audience vote. The winners will be awarded during a live TV studio dedicated to SEARCH - European Night of Scientists, which will take place on September 30, 2022 and will be broadcast from Sofia Tech Park.
The topics of the contests are:
1) SEARCH Project Young Voices podcast contest
The competition is open to students living in Bulgaria from the following two age groups:
- 12-14 years;
- 15-18 years.
Tell a personal story about climate change in your town/village/ or region, presented as a 5-minute audio podcast.
In this podcast, express your own view and opinion on climate change. Tell about unusual manifestations that you have observed. Explain why these changes are happening, how they are manifesting, how you, your friends and us as a society can help. Teams from two or more students.
Tell us your story in the form of an audio recording, upload the recording to YouTube and send a link to it to the address: association.cra@gmail.com, quoting in the subject field - about the Competition "Young Voices" of the SEARCH project.

- podcast title, short description
- contacts: email address, telephone, postal address
- your age and which school you study at
2) SEARCH Instagram Looking Glass Visual Work Competition for Young People
Students aged 15 to 18 who live in Bulgaria can participate in the competition.
The visual work may take the form of a short video up to 2 minutes or photo up to 5 MB with description.
The clip or photo should reflect challenges existing in the environment around you (school, village, city, family, other) or the opportunities you see for positive solutions.
Save and upload your creative project on Instagram, and send a link to it to the address: association.cra@gmail.com, citing in the subject field - About the SEARCH Instagram Looking Glass Contest.
In the email write:
