The Municipality of Plovdiv is hosting the 11th International Tourism Meeting with the focus "Plovdiv - European Capital of Culture 2019".
The Municipality of Plovdiv is pleased to invite all interested persons and organizations to participate in the XI International Tourism Meeting, which will be held from November 13 to 16, 2019. in the ancient, but alive and dynamically developing city of Plovdiv. In the last 10 years, Plovdiv has established itself as a sustainable destination at the national and international level with a multi-layered cultural and historical heritage from antiquity to the present day.
This year, the focus of the XI International Tourism Meeting will be "Plovdiv - European Capital of Culture 2019". One of the main highlights will be the presentation of the Roman mosaic heritage of ancient Philippopolis, which became the reason why the city was included in the UNESCO list of cities of significant cultural and natural importance. The Mayor of the Municipality of Plovdiv, Eng. Ivan Totev, welcomes all those wishing to participate in the XI International Tourism Meeting, 2019.
