Students from Ruse underwent an internship program based on innovative methodology
Four students from two Ruse high schools successfully completed an internship program under the guidance of specialists Ruse Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Business Innovation Center "Innobridge".
Ivan Krastev and Nedko Nedkov from the Vocational High School of Electrical Engineering and Electronics, and Vladislav Nikolov and Yana Zlatanova from the Vocational High School of Economics and Management underwent a one-month internship conducted according to an innovative methodology. It was developed within the App.Mod.E project implemented by RTIK and includes a new internship model aimed at developing entrepreneurial skills.
The model is based on the adoption of problem-based learning methods with elements of gamification. Adopting these two innovative learning techniques helps to acquire entrepreneurial skills and build a different attitude towards innovation and creativity. Furthermore, the work-based learning approach develops important real-life awareness and connections and enables learners to set up and run a business, be tested by challenges and obstacles, and achieve success – all in a dynamic, a rapidly changing environment that is completely risk-free.
Methodology aims to support the development, organization and implementation of internship programs that facilitate the acquisition of professional skills, through training models applied in entrepreneurship training. Special attention is paid to the application of methodology and practical tools, combining the acquisition of professional and entrepreneurial skills.
At the end of their internship, the young people received a certificate for its successful completion, as well as recommendations from the management of both organizations.
