Meetings in 7 cities of the country "Results of the presentation of Bulgaria in the Horizon 2020 Program"
The "Science" Directorate of the Ministry of Education and Science invites participation in the meeting "Results of Bulgaria's performance in the Horizon 2020 Program and the main framework of the Horizon Europe Program for the period 2021-2027."
The Ministry of Education and Science (MES) is organizing a meeting on the topic "Results of Bulgaria's performance in the Horizon 2020 Program under the Horizon Europe Program for the period 2021-2027. The main speakers from the MES will be Assoc. Prof. Evgeni Evgeniev - responsible for "Science" sector in the Permanent Representation of the Republic of Bulgaria to the European Union and Prof. Kostadin Kostadinov - advisor to the Minister of Education and Science.
The main topics of the meeting and its results will serve to:
Presentation of an analysis of the competitiveness of Bulgarian science in Horizon 2020 and presentation of the framework of the future Horizon Europe (missions and partnerships, clusters, support for the enlargement group, etc.);
Existing partnerships between science and business in Bulgaria and feedback on future prospects for participation in public-private partnerships in Europe in the period 2021-2027 (including the European Innovation Council and support for small and medium-sized enterprises and start-ups); Consultation on the strategic planning process for the future program for scholars; Discussion on possible levers that can be used in Brussels for a better positioning of Bulgarian scientific organizations and universities.
The working meeting will be held in 7 cities of the country, as follows:
Plovdiv: August 1, between 10:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. in 1.08 Kompas hall at Paisii Hilendarski University of Plovdiv.
St. Zagora: August 1, between 3:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. in the meeting room "prof. Dr. Dimitar Dimov" of Thrace University - St. Zagora.
Gabrovo: August 2, between 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. in the conference hall of the university library of TU-Gabrovo.
Veliko Tarnovo: August 6, between 10:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. at the Regional Information Center - V. Tarnovo, 24 Bulgaria Blvd.
Shumen: August 7, 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., Regional Information Center - Shumen, 17 Slavyanski Blvd.
Varna: August 8, between 10:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. in Hall 1 of the University of Economics - Varna.
Burgas: August 9, between 2:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. in the "Medical Sciences" building of the University "Prof. Dr. Asen Zlatarov".
It is planned that these meetings will be open to representatives of universities, scientific institutes, business organizations and other organizations and individuals interested in the topic.
