The Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, together with the Embassy of India in Sofia and the Indian Council for the Promotion of the Export of Pharmaceutical Products, organized a webinar on "Cooperation between Bulgaria and India in the pharmaceutical sector" and bilateral meetings with companies.
The event will take place on February 9, 2022. from 11.30 /EET/ on the Webex platform.
The Indian economy is one of the largest in the developing world. The country ranks sixth in the world in nominal GDP and third in purchasing power parity. India is an industrial-agrarian country with a well-developed industry: automotive, food, chemical, pharmaceutical, textile, telecommunications and information technology, as well as with high scientific and technical potential, incl. in the space and nuclear fields.
The pharmaceutical industry in India is among the leading branches of industrial production, occupying the 3rd place in the world in terms of the volume of drugs produced - annually for more than 20 billion USD. Most of them are export-oriented.
Within the framework of the event, the pharmaceutical industry of India and Bulgaria will be presented, the procedures for the registration of drugs in Bulgaria and the opportunities for cooperation between Bulgarian and Indian companies. After the official part, bilateral meetings will be held with Indian companies from the pharmaceutical sector dealing with: formulations, ingredients, vaccines, biopharmaceuticals, alternative medicine, medical equipment, consulting services, etc.
The webinar is suitable for: Bulgarian companies and entrepreneurs who wish to find Indian partners, expand their contacts with local institutions and companies, study the Indian pharmaceutical market. Working language of the event: English.
